Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry is used to improve a person’s teeth, gums or bite. Procedures used to accomplish this can be as simple as at-home or in office whitening or as complex as a full mouth reconstruction.

An at home whitening is a procedure that can be done in the convenience of your own home to provide a whiter and brighter smile. It is accomplished by making custom trays for the patient and providing whitening gel to be used in those trays. The strength of the gel varies based on patient sensitivity.

The in office whitening is a jump start to a whiter and brighter smile. In office whitening is a two hour appointment in which prescription strength gel is professionally applied to the teeth and a blue light is then  used to accelerate the whitening process. Custom trays and gel for at home touch-ups  are included with this appointment.

  • Whitening (in-office or at-home)
    • Custom trays
    • Prescription-level gels
  • Veneers
    • Dental veneers, sometimes referred to as porcelain veneers are thin, custom made shells of tooth colored porcelain material used to cover the front of the tooth.  They can be used to change the color, shape, size or orientation of the tooth and thus improve the appearance of your smile.  The advantage of a veneer versus a crown is that it retains the integrity of the tooth by removing very little of it. Most veneers are made of porcelain because it is stain resistant and it mimics the light reflecting properties of natural teeth.
